Game rules
1 : To celebrate AMR’s 50th anniversary, Antony RUF is organizing a contest of modified kits and factory built models. This game will be subject to a public vote from March 19 to 23, 2025, and a special jury prize per category. The results will be announced on April 1, 2025.
2 – CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
2.1. This free game is open to amateurs over the age of 14, whatever their nationality, and excludes jury members and their families.
2.3. The competition is limited to one entry per category and per person (same surname, same first name and same e-mail address).
2.4 The models that may be entered in this competition are all those in the production listing (excluding AMRibilia) published on the amr-modelcars website, and only those. Access link: http://www.amr-modelcars.com/19752005/parser.html
2.5 The competition categories are :
Out of the box. The kit must be assembled according to the instructions, with no modifications or additions.
“Restomod: kit with modifications (bodywork, interior) and/or addition of modern components.
True fake FB: authentic factory built with notable modifications (color not in official series, modern attachments, etc.).
Spirit of April 1st joke: have fun!
To enter: before march the 15th of 2025 e-mail antony.ruf@orange.fr at least 3 clear, unaltered photos (filters, photo software corrections) of your model: a 3/4 front, a 3/4 rear, a side view. You can enter one or more categories. The jury may request additional photos if necessary. An explanatory text should be attached (e.g. why you chose this model, what it means to you, the nature of the modifications made, etc.).
2.6 : A fair voting system is currently being identified. Several solutions are being studied, all of which meet the objective of having only one vote per voter, with the result of the vote remaining unknown to the public until April 1st.
The jury will make its own choice from among the participants in each category.
2.7 there will be no 2.2.
3: PRIZES.
The top 3 in each category as elected by the public will be awarded prizes. The intrinsic value of the prizes will remain symbolic, but it will be worthwhile to try to win them, as they will be made especially and uniquely for this 50th anniversary.
The jury will select one winner in each category, independently of the public vote.
Winners will be contacted individually.
Photos of the winning models will be published on the internet and in particular on the AMR facebook and instagram pages.
4: What’s possible, what’s not (list may be completed if necessary):
– It is permitted to use remanufactured windows, decals and tires if those of the chosen model have aged badly, provided that the original characteristics are respected (dimensions, for example),
– Because André-Marie Ruf hated varnish on decals, you should refrain from presenting models that “benefit” from it.
– Clones of 000s and special models publicized in books or on the Internet will not be accepted.
– A montage for the event is ideal, but the presentation of an old montage of which you are particularly proud will be tolerated.
– You can campaign by sharing your model(s) for this competition on social networks.
